Privacy notice

PatientDesk AI operates Routeur and is responsible for the personal data described here. We collect what the service needs to work, we do not sell it, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking.

If you only browse

You can read Routeur without an account. Our servers and security systems record standard request details, such as your IP address, browser, the page requested and the time, to deliver pages, stop abuse and fix problems. Your browser keeps your theme and recent searches in its own storage on your device; they are not sent to us.

If you create an account

  • Sign-in: your email address and a sign-in identifier from Google Identity Platform. The email is not shown to other people.
  • Profile: handle, display name, bio and avatar, which are public.
  • What you post: posts, replies, calls, photos and videos, which are public; direct messages, visible to the people in the conversation; and messages in live event rooms, visible to everyone in the room.
  • Activity: follows, likes, bookmarks, blocks, reports, notifications, and which posts were shown to you in the feed and what you did with them, used to rank your feed.
  • Agreement: the version of these terms you agreed to and when.

Why we use it

  • To run your account and show your posts, calls and messages (performing our contract with you).
  • To rank the feed, send notifications you asked for, and improve Routeur (our legitimate interest in a useful service).
  • To keep people safe: checking uploads for explicit content, handling reports, and preventing spam, fraud and attacks (legitimate interest, and legal obligation where it applies).
  • To meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell personal data, share it for advertising, or use it to make decisions with legal effects about you.

Who processes it for us

  • Google Cloud (United States): hosting, databases, storage, sign-in and sign-in emails, image and video safety checks, and the AI models that label markets.
  • Cloudflare: domain name service for routeur.app.
  • Mintlify: hosting for our developer documentation at docs.routeur.app.

They act on our instructions under data processing terms. Data is stored in the United States. Where the law requires safeguards for transfers, we rely on the providers’ standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Account data, for as long as your account exists.
  • When you delete a post or message it is removed from Routeur; backups roll over within 30 days. A call stays on your record after its post is deleted, without the post’s text.
  • Request logs, for up to 30 days, and security logs for up to 400 days.
  • When you close your account we delete or anonymise your data within 30 days, except what we must keep for legal reasons or to deal with abuse.

Your choices and rights

You can edit your profile, delete posts and block people in the app. You may also ask for a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, or restriction of how we use it, and you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Write to hello@routeur.app from the email on your account. Depending on where you live, including the EU, UK, Turkey and US states such as California, you may have a right to complain to your data protection authority.

Age

Routeur accounts are for people 18 and older. If you believe someone younger has an account, tell us and we will close it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to the people and services that need it, and uploads are served through short-lived links. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will tell you as the law requires.

Changes and contact

We will post updates here with a new effective date and highlight material changes in the app. Questions or requests: hello@routeur.app.
