If the U.S. Census Bureau reports that U.S. private data center construction spending for August 2026 is above $85.0B (billion) at a seasonally adjusted annual rate, then the market resolves to Yes. This market will resolve based on the first published estimate of U.S. private data center construction spending for August 2026 reported by the U.S. Census Bureau in its Value of Private Construction Put in Place – Seasonally Adjusted Annual Rate data. The relevant figure is found under: Private → Nonresidential → Office → Data center The Census Bureau reports this figure in millions of dollars at a seasonally adjusted annual rate (SAAR). For example, $70 billion corresponds to $70,000 million. The first figure published for the relevant month will be used, including if Census identifies that figure as preliminary. Subsequent revisions, corrections, or updated estimates will not affect the market’s resolution.
