Risk disclosure
Nothing on Routeur is investment, trading, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Read this before acting on what you see here.
You can lose everything you put in
A prediction market contract usually pays a fixed amount if an event happens and nothing if it does not. If you buy the side that loses, you lose the whole price you paid. Trading costs such as fees and the spread between buying and selling prices reduce any return.
Prices on Routeur may be wrong or late
We collect prices from the venues on a schedule, so what you see can be minutes old, and a venue’s data can be missing or mistaken. Order books can be thin: the price shown may not be available for the size you want. Check the venue before you trade.
History is not a forecast
Strategies, calibration and backtests describe how settled markets behaved in the past, usually before fees and sometimes at mid prices you could not have traded at. Returns shown with a range are estimates from past samples. Markets change, and a rule that paid before can lose from here.
Price gaps and relations
When Routeur shows that two markets are related or priced apart, that is a reading of each venue’s contract terms. Venues can settle the same real-world event differently, change rules, delay settlement or void markets, and money on two venues cannot offset automatically. A gap that looks risk-free may not be.
People’s calls and posts
Calls, tiers and rankings reflect a record on Routeur, not skill you can rely on. People may be wrong, lucky, or promoting positions they hold. Do your own research.
Where you live matters
Prediction markets and event contracts are regulated differently around the world and are prohibited in some places. Routeur does not check whether a venue is available to you. It is your responsibility to follow the law that applies to you and each venue’s own terms.
