How this market is decidedShow

If the U.S. House of Representatives adjourns from substantive floor business for its pre-election 2026 recess after Issuance and before Sep 18, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes. Only reporting from the U.S. House of Representatives qualifies for the purposes of this market. Reports that merely reference prior publications (from before Issuance) do not qualify. Republishing of content originally produced by other sources (e.g., wire services) only qualifies if the content is hosted on the outlet's official platform and the outlet is clearly identified as the publishing entity. The qualifying report must identify that the House has left substantive floor business for its pre-election recess. A daily adjournment, district work period, or pro forma session is insufficient unless the House reports that the pre-election recess has begun.
