If Giannis Antetokounmpo is announced as a starter for the first regular season game for Miami but doesn't actually start the game due to injury or any other reason, the market resolves to No. Resolution is based solely on who starts the first regular season game for Miami. It is not affected by whether Giannis Antetokounmpo retires, signs with another team, or is traded away from Miami before that game.
