How this market is decidedShow
If the total allowable catch set by ADF&G for the 2026/27 Bering Sea District snow crab fishery is at least 23 million pounds, then the market resolves to Yes. The settling figure is the amount labeled “Total” in ADF&G’s official annual harvest specifications for the Bering Sea District snow crab fishery. This is the combined Individual Fishing Quota (IFQ) and Community Development Quota (CDQ) amount and includes any additional allocation that ADF&G incorporates into the Total, including an allocation for hybrid crab. A separately stated base, recommended, IFQ-only, or CDQ-only amount will not be used. If ADF&G initially announces a TAC and subsequently revises it before expiration, the most recently announced TAC as of expiration will control. Revisions announced after expiration will not affect settlement. If ADF&G expresses the TAC as a range, the midpoint will be used unless ADF&G announces a single figure before expiration. If the directed fishery is closed or no TAC is issued by expiration, the Closed outcome will resolve Yes and every numeric outcome will resolve No.
