If EIA reports West Virginia’s total coal production for calendar year 2026 is above 78 million short tons, then the market resolves to Yes. The Underlying is the West Virginia Total in Table 2, Coal Production by State, of the first EIA Quarterly Coal Report containing full-year 2026 production data. Production is reported in thousand short tons and will be converted to million short tons by dividing by 1,000. Subsequent revisions will not affect resolution.
